My main gripe with the message from Open AI execs to students is that they've downplayed the value of learning. I don't dispute the power of AI but they have a megaphone right now that could be used to help students understand that teachers are working to get them to use their minds, not just setting up an obstacle course to showcase the agility of a super powered AI...
